Train Your Human
FAQ:
What age should we start training our dog?
The best time to begin training is as early as possible—even if your dog isn’t showing any problem behaviors yet. Early training lays the foundation for clear communication, good manners, and confident socialization. It helps your dog learn how to navigate the world in a positive, structured way, reducing the likelihood of anxiety, reactivity, or confusion down the road.
Starting early also makes everyday life easier for both you and your dog, from leash walking and greeting guests to visiting the vet or groomer. By focusing on prevention rather than correction, you can avoid the need to reshape ingrained habits later—saving you time, money, and stress. Whether you have a new puppy, a rescue, or a dog of any age, proactive training is one of the best investments you can make in their long-term well-being.

Do you work with shelter dogs?
Yes! We proudly work with shelter and rescue dogs and understand the unique challenges and transitions they may face. Whether your dog is newly adopted or has been in your home for some time, we focus on building trust, communication, and confidence to help them adjust and thrive in their new environment.

Do you work with all breeds?
Absolutely. We welcome dogs of all breeds, sizes, and backgrounds. Every dog deserves training tailored to their individual needs and personality, regardless of breed.
Please note: Due to insurance restrictions, we are unable to work with dogs who have a known bite history involving a person.

Do you do board and train programs?
At this time, we do not offer board and train services. Our focus is on empowering owners through private, in-home training so you can be directly involved in the learning process. This approach strengthens the bond between you and your dog and helps ensure lasting results.

Do you do group classes?
Currently, we specialize in private, one-on-one sessions that allow us to customize training to your specific goals and your dog’s unique personality. However, we are exploring group class options in the future—stay tuned for updates!
